Alright this is a two parter......

First..... What DOD effects pedals are using?

second.....What happened to DOD? I remember when I was younger you could go to any store and buy a DOD pedal....I thought for sometime they went out of business.....but DOD still has a website and sells pedals.....so like I asked earlier....what happened????

Not to be the Thread Police, but this should actually be in the "gear" section.

I've actually never used DOD pedals, even though there have been some that have looked interesting... for some reason, their switches always seemed suspect to me. But I know there are plenty o' people on iLF who loves them some DOD...

I would like to get a Big Pig Distortion, Buzz Box and Gonkulator someday if I could find them at a decent price.

I've used their 585 delay, their 201 phaser, and I have the fx75 flanger waiting for me in the mailbox. Their older pedals are pretty cool judging from what I have used. I've never had any problems with the switching . . . yet. My friend's dod grunge pedal did lose both the battery snap and the power adapter in the normal course of pedal use :idk:

As for their new pedals I think they are trying to appeal to a broader user base, i.e. no more gonkulator, and haven't been able to compete as well as a result.

New ones aren't being made though.

DOD was bought up by Digitech, and know if you're looking for any DOD you have to buy a digitech pedal.... :(

Just sold my FX25 :(
needed the $$ for a cosmichorus though so it was for a good cause!

However, I got my bass sound by putting the controls as such- Blend 100% sensitivity- 0% Range- 0% great dub sound.

FX59 Thrash Master

I stomped on it at a gig once and the battery cover flew off. That thing sure took a beating. I keep it around to reminisce.
