Mike Vest (Bong, Blown Out, Melting Hand, a million other things) is raising some money for a Newcastle Food Bank via his bandcamp. So any sales until tomorrow (the 23rd) go straight to helping people have some food this Xmas
Dude is insanely prolific, and if you like guitar based psych you will probably want to check it out. If you're a real head you will want to buy the whole discography, because it rips. If you're more selective I recommend the Blown Out and Lush Worker stuff. Either way the code fucktories will get you 40% off, including 40% off the whole discography for the aforementioned real heads.

I thought I missed out on the deal. I've been making a it a point to not download anything illegally this year (What is the opposite of virtue signaling? That is my intention here. Like.. can I coin a new term? "Not Being A Piece Of Shit Gesticulation"?). Just snagged up the entire discog. Plenty of choons to listen to this 2020!

Full band stuff: Check out the two Melting Hand records: Faces of Earth if you want something a bit more mellow, High Collider for more space rock. Blown Out's Sun Rot is what Earthless would sound like if they were a good band these days, and Fried on Rock is straight speaker melting fuzz rock ala Hendrix bootlegs at their finest
