Shipping P-Bass/Case To The UK

Hi friends.
I'm selling a P-Bass/case on Reverb and a gentleman from the UK is insistent upon buying it. I've turned him down a few times, but he's willing to pay a bit extra for shipping. I don't mind doing it, I just had turned him down so many times because I didn't want to deal with the shipping hassle.
Has anyone in the States (I'm in MI) shipped a bass to the UK lately, or has anyone from the UK accepted a bass from the States? Got any pointers? Best shippers? Costs? Warnings?
Thanks!

I had a guitar shipped to me once from the US, pretty sure was with UPS if I remember correctly... Which I might not.

Cost roughly $100.
The shipping went absolutely fine with the thing packed up nicely, I had to pay a lot for customs but I understood that going in and budgeted.

I’ve shipped two bases to Russia
Not a big deal if you do the customs forms properly

IMO, ship it with a carrier that is convenient for you, and not the one that is cheapest for the buyer. DHL has good prices for international shipping but using their website is a nightmare, and the time you spend trying to figure out how to ship with them will not be compensated for by the buyer.
Supposedly, Paypal offers prepaid shipping (with a small discount) and the ability to fill out customs forms online, but I wasn't able to figure out how to do that. It's supposed to be under Sellers Tools (something like that). It may require you to be an actual vendor (business account I guess) or maybe I couldn't find it because I didn't have an actual international order when I was looking into it. If you can figure that out, it should be a big help (pre-print your labels and do the customs forms online). Filling out customs forms by hand is a pain in the ass.
