updating the firmware on mooer pedals (e7)

The mrs, gifted me an e7 for my birfday and I was curious how the firmware process is done? do you have to be logged into their site? the manual just tells you to plug in and press a button.

It probably has the software stored internally. That software is probably going to connect to the interwebs and download and install the newest firmware for you.
This is an uneducated guess.

I heard back from Mooer. You have to go to their website under support and see if there is a firmware update and follow their instructions.
