favorite analog delay

just looking for suggestions
my setup is pretty 60s with an es-335 and a '65 ampeg reverberocket with an alnico speaker
fuzz pretty much always sounds like shit through it, which is a huge bummer.
anyway, the first one that came to mind was the analogman ardx20 but i'm not really a big analogman fan\\
i always like the way the fairfield meet maude sounds on demos, but remember reading a review that it isn't great with gainy guitar
i'm really only using pretty mild overdrive for whatever that's worth
pedalboard footprint not really an issue
