Screamin’ FX Uverbia?

Anyone have one? Seems like the builder is out of biz - does anyone know the story there?
Yeah, it sounds super rad, and I’ve been trying to get in touch with the builder but have got no response from email or social media messages, and there have been no social media posts since December 2017. I’m thinking if I ever want to get one it will have to be on the used market.oldangelmidnight wrote:I don't know the story but I have one and it's a lot of fun. The gain sounds great. I like to set it up on top of something uneven so I can kick it to get a big splash.
OAM has it now. It's a cool thing, doesn't have the drip I wanted. Better than the Spaceman orion IMOUglyCasanova wrote:JohnnyAngle has/had one. I'm sure he'll chime in
From what I’ve heard, and what I really like, is that overdriven cavernous sound and the ability to mix 100% wet. I’m not in a rush to find one, so i’ll Keep an eye out. Not holding my breath tho. Might just pick up an endless summer instead.JonnyAngle wrote:OAM has it now. It's a cool thing, doesn't have the drip I wanted. Yeah, it’s pretty cool too! From what I’ve heard, it doesn’t do that overdriven springy sound I like tho. Maybe I need to watch more demos?echorec wrote:Not to get offtrack, but if you can't find a Uverbia, what about the Anasounds Element?

I will correct myself, I’ve rewatched a couple of demos and it seems like it does actually have that similar sound. I’d love to be able to play around with them, but there appear to be no dealers in Canada.Blood_mountain wrote:Yeah, it’s pretty cool too! I'm not sure how frequently the US shops stock them either. It may be an item that sells out quickly in stores, so they don't list them on Reverb. For my needs, I'd just get La Brute. Looks like 230 Euros (VAT removed for North America, then take another 10% off with the WELCOME-PROMO code). $230 US / $307 CAD (it says shipping is 39 Euros, but I'm not seeing any S&H charges when I add stuff to my cart)Blood_mountain wrote:I will correct myself, I’ve rewatched a couple of demos and it seems like it does actually have that similar sound. I’ve spoken with the builder before and he seems like a very nice person as well, which always makes me feel just that much better about supporting a company. I’m glad you got me to take another look at it because it’s a serious consideration now I like that it has more control than the endless summer as well.echorec wrote:I'm not sure how frequently the US shops stock them either. Depending on budget/apprehension levels, there's also a 30-day review period.

No, I’m not sure at all. Just said it seems like it since I’ve tried contacting via email, Facebook and Instagram and have received no response and there have been no posts on his social media since Dec 2017.repoman wrote:Are you sure ScreaminFX is out of business? It says there is a back order and you have to contact him to get on a waitlist hence no add to cart function.
