Yeah, Gibson's doing a new Jimi Hendrix siganture guitar. But it's not a Flying V, it's not even a white 3-pickup SG, but a Strat copy.

The sheer FAIL of this, amazes me.

I know Janie Hendrix is pretty much milking Jimi's legacy for all it's worth, but CHRIST. I'm scared to go out now.

The best bit of this is the box features Jimi on the front... playing a Fender:

Wow.. Looks like a pawn shop strat copy, but with Gibson quality, which actually tends to be worse than most pawn shop guitars....

Yeah i've seen those floating around ebay occasionaly, Gibson probably just outsourced to them and got them to stick a new label on it, bit like Daphon pedals makes pedals for Maxon and Ibanez... bet that's going to suck what very little tone is held in that guitar and amp.
