any of you freakers have either of these? i pretty much live off of my student refunds, so i can't afford to spend a crazy amount of money to go analog, but these things seem pretty cool from the videos i've seen, especially the memory boy. a new, ANALOG delay for under $100? sounds pretty rad to me.

yeah if i can't find another delay for cheaper i may get an EHX Memory Toy. i did kind of want an MXR Carbon Copy but i just didn't want to pay that much used for one & i never saw a used one for a hundo or less.
but i think people are buying more Memory Boys though?

If you want cheap i'd suggest getting a Daphon E20DL if you can find one (they pop up on ebay a fair amount) japanese made by the company that makes pedals for ibanez (it's also the basis for the very expensive Analogman A20DL) comes in a cast iron metal enclosure, based off a Boss DM-2 and cost around $40 all you have to do is buy a $4.95 V3205 chip from Smallbearlec to replace the one in it which is socketed so just a case of opening it and prying out the old chip (which you can sell on ebay probably for $4.95) to double the delay time and for under $40, 3-500ms Analog Delay

which can be improved further if you don't mind using a soldering iron...
But I will admit the memory boy looks good but didn't I see in an earlier thread the memory toy was being recalled for a fault?

IDK. think the bigger issue was about China stereotypes or something.
