Crotchthrottle is dead, long live The Wire Chimes

So... yeah. I used to release solo stuff under the moniker "Crotchthrottle" with a whole silly Gorrilaz-esque backstory that I myself could never keep straight. But for the last few years, as the music got more and more out of "noise" and into "song" territory, I started to chafe at the name.
So, no longer. From here on out, it's The Wire Chimes. Oh, and I have a brand spanking new album out!

In many ways, this is a "cleaning out the closet" release - a bunch of these songs have parts that have floated around from band to band, never finding a proper home. Heck, the oldest riff here dates back to 1997 - I think that's older than some of the people I work with. But in putting this together, everything got re-evaluated, rejiggered, rearranged, so hopefully they all feel related.
Anyhow, as always I'm posting this on ILF first because this place and all of the fuzzy freaks herein have inspired this stuff in one way or another. Enjoy!
