Brands you haven't tried and why???

Or not why. It doesn't actually matter. I'm just curious how much have we all actually tried? Is there any stone left unturned??? I know there is for me and it's more than you might think. I'm super weird about how I select pedals and I can't even fully explain how my mind works with that shit, but it's odd for sure. Certain brands, I just can't do for some reason. I feel like they just don't grab me. So as a result I don't try any of their stuff.

First one that comes to mind for me is Keeley. He's been around for EVER and I have never tried his pedals. I tried one of his 3 knob comps once, but I don't think that counts. It's a comp. I mean, come on. It's not a fuzz.

The rest-

Glou Glou (price and size)
Midi Fi (no reason, I just haven't)
Pladask (availability)
Sonic Crayon (rare obviously)
Fulltone (I don't believe I have tried any? I may be lying, but I'm pretty sure.)
Matthew Effects (the footswitches bother me and I've never been able to get past it. The offset thing. I just...can't.)

There's a ton more but you get the idea. I'm not looking to shit on any builders. So, let's avoid that if possible here. Just curious! :)

Most TGP type pedals. Just not my cuppa.

Fuzzrocious - I think their pedals look terrible, design wise. The primary colored knobs and the kids/cartoon/stock tattoo paint jobs. Not for me. They have some mean fuzzies though.
Mid-Fi - don't ship outside the US.
Mattoverse - don't seem that useful or versatile usually, from the little I've seen. Too bad, because they look great and Matt seems like a cool duder.
Adventure Audio - has 420 weed design pedals and that makes me cringe, but the oscillating fuzz he makes sounds way sick.
Hologram - side jacks on huge enclosures
Caroline - the lofi reverb sounds great, I just haven't seen them around locally at all.

Those are the only ones I can think of atm.

Fulltone and jhs are easy for obvious reasons. For the longest time I avoided walrus, old blood, and Alexander, and finally tried some but none stuck for me. Keeley I felt the same about but I was looking for something w an hm-2 kinda sound and saw a recommendation for his filaments pedal. It’s surprisingly versatile and has some great low end. In a reverse scenario, I used to have everything from earthquaker, and now I think I have two still and pretty much avoid them entirely.

Jhs- just never seemed interesting to me plus all the sketchy stuff you hear about them.
Hologram- same reason as UC, big boxes side jacks.
Glou glou- to big and pricey.
Keeley- never had any interest.
Eventide- not really sure why but never been to interested in these either.
Empress- I'm interested in the zoia but haven't tried anything from them for no real reason.
Caroline- the only one that ever caught my eye was the reverb but I don't think it'll beat out the rm1n so I never picked it up.

Earthquaker is my big one which is interesting to me because I've liked a lot of EQD demos. I guess while I think a lot of their stuff sounds cool their pedals always get barely edged out by others for my purposes when I'm looking to buy. Can't really explain it but I'm sure I'll have some of their pedals someday.

JHS - copying circuits and calling them original designs is lame. funding genocide is like so hella lame.
Behringer synths - Uli Behringer is a cockroach.
Glou-Glou - I won't buy pedals with 13 knobs and no presets. That is infuriating.
EMS synths - my grandfather lost our fortune when he moved off the farm and left his 1920s baseball card collection behind. (only in the last two weeks have I finally been able to enjoy these through software tributes...it turns out virtual EMS synths are amazing)
Marshall - Bluesbreaker combos are rather expensive.
Roger Mayer - pricey and never found the right deal.
Dr. Scientist - the Tremolessence was discontinued, I have the Bitquest sounds in other pedals, people always want too much for cool versions of the Elements, and Ryan doesn't make a phaser. (I played a Cosmichorus for 5 minutes once, but it too was discontinued, so I've never owned any of them.)
Death By Audio - Oliver gave me the schematic for a V1 TSA, when he was starting out, but I've never actually played anything he's personally built.
Klon Centaur - I'm burdened with too much self-respect.

Oh yeah, Dwarfcraft. I run into this bearded weirdo at Comic Con, and I'm like, "Ay-o, Aen, Dwarfcraft!!! What's your favorite worgle to play as?" And he's all, "Worgles? I'm more of a dwoddle or slothmonger." And I was just like, "Fuck this poseur," and I started walking really fast up the escalator to get away from him. I mean I'm just not going to buy wares from a slothmonger.

Because there's soooo much room in their enclosures. When your pedals are that wide, and you have room for it, why wouldn't you put the jacks on top so you don't have to waste even more pedalboard real-estate? It's bad design, and I generally don't support bad design.

Also, when I tried the Infinite Jets, a good portion of my lows went missing, even when I tried going 100% dry. And that, my friend, is simply unacceptable.

I have no idea how they make that happen (the pedal affecting the dry signal's EQ), but that's pretty bad.

Walrus - the only thing I ever wanted to try was the Janus because it looked sooo cool. Rest of their stuff never scratched my GAS.
Cornish - you know, price, plus right now I look at those like "pedals for aristocrats who just play lame Pink Floyd covers".
Old Blood Noise - same as Walrus
Red Panda - sooner or later I m gonna grab a Particle, just not now
Pladask - availability, same with Tomkat (and Seppuku, years ago) .
AC Noises - they are basically neighbors, I would love to play the Arpiona but it was a limited run
Adventure Audio - was about to pull the trigger on the Reaper at least 3 times but something stopped me everytime
There's surely something else but these are the first that pop in my mind

Guitar-wise I would love to play one of those old Mustangish designs that TYM guitars keeps doing, and obviously an EGC and a Nude.

Uh, also, plbr Effects. The guy's got a delay with Bitcrusher coming out in the next months

I was almost forgetting:
Frayed Knot Electronics - I wish I could put my hands on the Marma but I also would like to hear more demos before jumping in

Uhh what's everyone’s beef with Fuller? Is he just a big mouth big talker or has he done something really nasty like jhs?

I haven't tried more stuff than i care to admit!!!

Good call. Would love to check out his stuff. Seems like Seppuku 2.0,but unfortunately that also includes the newer Seppuku prices. A bit too steep for something I don't feel like I've understood or heard enough of yet.

Edit: oh, his pedals are $200 now? That changes things. Damn. Unexpected GAS.

Aside from price and availability, reason to rule out a particular brand of pedlols: cringy graphics or enclosures, huge/tiny pedals, brands that let me down after trying two of their pedals, brands that are too tgp/p&w, brands that are overly snobby and hipster'y,...:idk:

Never ever messed with a SS/BS pedal, which may seem a bit weird for an ilf veteran I guess.

Judging by their demos they just don't seem to have anything that's far from what my current dirt pedal collection also does :idk:
Also, I never came across a good deal for a Mini with top jacks. SS/BS kinda falls in the "rare" category here in Europe.
