Trade a Sunn Beta Lead for a Sunn Concert Lead (red knob)

What’s up guys. Hey, I put my Beta Lead on Craigslist up for trade to see what is out there and I just had an offer to trade for a Concert Lead. It’s the red knob too.. I’ve always wanted the Concert Lead because of the distortion and tone. But I love my Beta lead. Money wise isn’t the Beta Lead a little more pricey? Maybe I should ask for cash on top of the trade, idk...
Thanks!

Betas are rarer and harder to make work again when certain components break which has definitely inflated the price. Honestly I've had a couple of both, the Beta is superior IMO. The Concert Leads, especially the red knob model have so much power even when using the distortion circuit there's barely any breakup. Using a 16 ohm cabinet to kill the amp's headroom is the only way I've been able to achieve good breakup from the amp itself.

I could go on and on, but don't take the trade.

I agree with waltdog, I wouldn't do this trade either. I had a red knob concert lead and I couldn't really get the distortion to sound that great unless it was cranked and then it just sounded thin imo.

Good choice, the Beta has better distortion, a unique take on reverb, and isn't as awkwardly designed.
