This may not be new to some of you, but if it is, I think it might have some general interest here--circuit bent noisemakers, synths and fuzz that seem to be based in old vocoder, pll and other chips. Lofi visual presentation  Prices aren't too bad. More than a whiff of Seppuku for those who get off on that  :snax:

Demo of the Decoder FM Modulator Synth pedal:

Seems to sell on Etsy and EBay

idk, it's giving me a lil case of the :snax: You?

Graphics remind me of The Syle (small builder) with paint marker graphics.

I just ordered a sound mangler (the Com Box)! Thanks for the link.

I have no idea if there's any truth to this, but I actually heard that guy got picked up by EQD at some point.

I have a - *inhale* - PWM Ultra circuit bent square wave distortion modulation guitar pedal drone synthesizer - *exhale* - and can confirm that's it's a very cool piece of gear.

Currently using it on vocals and for feedback orgies.

I have the ring modulator / bit crusher theremin one and it's fun, though I haven't been using it a super lot.

The maker was hands on + good to deal with.

Thanks all--I think I will probably take the plunge too. Not sure yet which one I'd pick :idk: Should be fun trying to wade through the...descriptive...names :D

How do the guts look?
The Circuit Bent Unknown Dual Tone Freq ring modulater bit crusher guitar bass distortion synth pedal sounds pretty good to me.

That one looks interesting, but also confused about its own mission. Stomp switch and body contacts/toggles?

Something for everybody I guess.

Based on the construction (durable but plastic) construction of mine, I see it way more as a tabletop/synth-top box than a floor pedal.

Ah, the dreaded gutshot reveal :D Also, on closer look, some of the choices re: footswitches and contacts are a bit of a headscratcher. Still think there are some fun sounds there....
