Hi There,

Can anyone help ID this Morley Pedal? It has no name, no model number, no serial, two footswitches, it's not in my possession so I can't try it out...just wondering if anyone is familiar with it? Seems like everything I've seen out there has a model name on it...Halp?

Looks like a Morley Rotating Wah. I'm not sure why it doesn't say that though? Normally it's right under the name. I could be wrong though?

Here's one for comparison sake.

A lot of the Morley pedals of that era looked pretty similar. :idk:

You'll need more to go on than just that one photo. :snax:

They all say the name underneath to? I wonder why this one doesn't...

It's def odd that it doesn't and doesn't even have the three letter Model number on it. Maybe I'll have to buy it to find out?

My first guess was the Power Wah but without the model name or numbers it's a tough call. A gut shot may shed some light.

No knobs?

My guess is power wah volume.

One knob, power wah boost

Two knobs power wah fuzz

Three either Flanger or phaser

If it only had one switch, most likely just wah.

Could be a proto (as said before) or a replacement plate . Tons of unreleased tel Rey units are out there in the wild. Morley of today has nothing to do with tel Rey (I asked them at namm haha).

I have an idea. Send it to me, I'll identify and sell it and give you half the profits. Deal? Ok deal. :)

I'm in the process of possibly acquiring it. How about I get it, sell it and then just tell you how much your share would have been? ;)

Update: So I picked this thing up today, but I'm at work and can't try it until I get home - the suspense is killing me!

It's got three inputs on the side, one marked "Volume" and the other two labeled "1" and "2" which seem to correspond with the two foot switches.

I'll update further when I get it plugged in and see if it even works!

Turns out it’s an ABY/volume pedal. Talked to Morley, they said it’s a prototype/one-off. Interesting.
