Hello everyone
The BBC are currently broadcasting an excellent new series about instruments that UK ILFers can find on BBC4 on iplayer, but those of you who live a bit further away can find two of the episodes on Youtube (at least until they get taken down; the episode about guitars hasn't been broadcast yet)
Drums - this is hosted by Stewart Copeland of the Police and was really interesting (and I have no interest in drums or drum machines at all and learned a lot about percussion from watching this)

Bass - Tina Weymouth from Talking Heads hosts this one and it's really cool - lots of amazing bass lines from musical history.
