Overdrive with HM-2 EQ

Does this exist? I know there was a no clipping HM-2 thing going around, but what about something lower gain for the clipping with that EQ section? Ideally I’d want like a DOD 250 or something. Could the Elements do it?

Isn't this supposed to be something like a Harmonic Percolator with HM-2 EQ? (Not sure how it does lower gain.)

I have one of these already actually, it’s cool I just don’t like percolators as overdrive

Gotcha!

(Yeah, I agree. Also, I forgot you had one of those.)

My other pedal is a 250
The swede saw will boost significantly, but not dirty. It's pretty simple to add though.
Boneshaker could get you close. Goroth would probably recommend the elements for any sound

This might be a fucknut comment but have you tried the HM2 at low gain? Sounds pretty good... I like it all the way down. I'm guessing you've gone there, but just had to check.

Yeah, that’s my always on bass dirt, I want a different clipping texture with the ability to get the ridiculous boost from that EQ. I’m actually getting a 250 with clipping options, 3 band HM-2 EQ, and switchable mid frequencies built right now

Excuse my ignorance, but what is so special about the HM-2 eq? I'm imagining that it has a big mid scoop, and then you can boost the bass and treble a lot? Does it have a signature sound that I should be aware of? I think Swedish chainsaw, but I've never really attributed that to the eq?

2 bands with a +/-12dB (correct me if I?m wrong) boost per each EQ Band, low being centered around 70-80 Hz (subbass galore earthquakes) and high (actually mids) centered around 1.2-1.3kHz

Basically it’s a really exaggerated EQ boost with a bit of a dip in the mid mids, huge bump in the high mids and mid bass. Basically it’s perfect for 90’s death metal riffs and crusty hardcore

get another hm2 and remove the hard and 2nd soft clipping stages
