The Wegen 7. Yeah. It's 7mm thick. I tried it at my guitar teacher's place back at home just to get a laugh and HOLY SHIT IT WAS AWESOME. After using it I couldn't stand my normal .73 Dunlop Tortex picks.

What do you guys use, btw?

EDIT - Find more of his picks at http://www.wegenpicks.com/

I use the pink or yellow .7something dunlops. Gives enough thickness to easily manage between soft and hard dynamics while floppy enough to do some leads.

I use those red dunlop ones with the turtle. They can be firm, or floppy depending on how ou hold them, so it's easy to switch between those two. :thumb:

When I started I was all about Fender medium tortoise shell. For a long time I played 1.4mm Dunlops. Earlier this year I switched to playing with a dime that had been run over by a train. And recently I decided that wasn't giving me enough definition and I switched to .71mm Dunlops...the light pink ones

J. Mascis uses the Purple Dunlop turtle ones, which are incredibly thick. Like playing with a rock. O.o

I use the Dunlop green triangle picks! Found one on my practice room floor about eight years ago, tried it for a laugh, and never looked back. Never loose your grip again! And they're pretty heavy, so they're perfect for mah bass...

I keep finding the Dunlops to slip out of my hands as I play, so it just made sense to get a larger pick with more grip to it. I feel like I should facepalm myself for getting a gargantuan pick, but it worked when I tried it...
