Expression Conundrum

Hi all

I've got myself thinking hard and I thought: why not pose these questions to fellow enthusiasts to get some perspective/ideas/ridicule.

I've been using my Mission EP25K expression pedal to control my Moog Delay, Mini Moog Trem, Red Panda Tensor, Bit Map and Ct5 with a messy labyrinth of TRS y cables from one jack (on the EP25K) and the second jack controlling a LAL Super Oscillo 88 Fuzz. The Super Oscillo wants a 10k expression value, but it works well enough when by itself with the EP25K's second jack.

I upgraded from my Wizard of Pitch to a Witch Shifter because it has an expression pedal and again, that pedal prefers 10K, but works by itself with the EP25K (in the second jack). I also purchased the Pladask Bakvendt and had a friend install an expression jack for the Time Stretch feature. It does not work with the EP25K, but it does work with a 10K expression pedal.

Last week, I bought a Mission Expressionator after getting off the phone with Mission headquarters and it sounded like this would solve the problem, controlling the three 10K desiring effects on my board from the second jack of the EP25K. So far, it has not. Only the Witch Shifter seems to like Expressionator.

Am I an asshole for trying to control this many pedals with one expression pedal?

Is there a 10K pedal on the market with three individual jacks?

Is it possible to mod/expand/add three additional 10k potentiometers to my EP25K?

Has anyone attempted similar feats? Has anyone added resistors to pedals to accept/utilize other expression values?

Apologies for so many novice questions, I'm just trying to control 8 wacky bleep machines with one expression pedal. :!!!: :snax: :picard:  :hello:

Source audio reflex
And Copilot for custom stuffs (splitters with adjustable stuff, lfos, CV of all kinds in pedal form). Adam would work with you I'm sure to figure out a solution.

Check out the 4E from DB Instrument Amp: http://dbinstrumentamp.com/products/4e- ... ion-pedal/

I have one, and it's great. It outputs to four pedals simultaneously, controlling two with the typical up-down motion, and two others with left-right motion. It has a ton of little internal dipswitches, so you can set each output individually to TS or TRS, and two of them can be switched from 25k to 10k. As expression pedals go, it's pricey, but I think the versatility is worth it.

So your present setup is running multiple pedals in parallel to the same pot in your expression pedal? That's going to potentially introduce issues of interaction between devices which could be why things stop working when you add an extra pedal.

An update: I have been able to get the Expressionator to control the Witch Shifter and the Super Oscillo at the same time...I was splitting a power source from a VooDoo labs unit and the Expressionator did not like that (I feel like such an idiot). The Expressionator will now control the Bakvendt expression jack, but only when it is plugged in by itself. My moddy friend says that i should be able to limit the sweep of the Expressionators output for the Bakvendt and make it work, but idk. I suppose if I had to get one mini expression pedal for the Bakvendt it wouldn't be the end of the world. Any Expressionator pros up in here?
