Idiotbox Blackout

So, I've been meaning to get my mitts on one of these for ages now, finally got one and have tried it both at home and in practice with folks, and it SLAYS HARD on bass. Basically two Muff circuits in parallel, one with more of a mid-scoop/bump control, the other more "traditional muff." I've got it set now so the "trad muff" voice has some fuzz with the tone rolled back (so, thundering mud), while the "mid-able muff" voice has the tone up maybe 2/3, with the fuzz about the same, and mixed a little back from the lower-toned voice... it sounds huge and cuts through the proverbial mix. And when I put my PitchFork with octave down on it through there it sounds like the END OF THE WORLD.
Anyhow, Matt was really cool to deal with, and this thing is a helluva pedal.
