Cab speakers?

Building a little 1x12 cab with a built in and bypassable power amp. Going to have a bunch of pre amp modules that I run into it and a line level out for recording. This will be for various sources including the synth, guitar, and bass.
Definitely do not want a full range speaker.
Anyone have any speakers they like on both trebley and bassy sources? Has anyone tried the weber gray wolf?

Eminence Delta’s are cheap and work for everything very well. Not a ton of color, but solid lows, not piercing highs, and even mids.

I have some grey wolves in a cab and I liked them, great sounding speakers overall. With webers though I prefer the black shucks a little more. They sound massive with a lot of balance in the low end of the spectrum and cut through great with out sounding to shrill with to much treble. They are very articulate or clear, whichever way you wanna describe it. I have them in a 6x12 and usually run either the 4x12 of them or 2x12 up top with them and they sound great. I have a science mother and hex micro t that I run into that cab so I guess it's hard to make either amp sound bad but I have a couple 2x12s with weber v30 clones and grey wolves but they really dont sound as intense as the black shucks.

I want to try some Deltas.
I have nothing but good stuff to say about Eminence, and also their customer service.
