Simple compact delay/verb combo pedal?

Any straight forward ambienty delay+reverb pedals out there that don't cost too much and aren't too obscure on the 'international' market?

- Dispatch Master: Perfect in terms of size, controls, sounds...But just too pricey for what it is imo. I can forgive the the lack of tweakability for the reverb or tt for the delay, but for that kinda money stereo i/o would've been nice :idk:
- Boss RV-3: No seperate control over the reverb time in the delay+verb modes. And the Hardwire RV-7 I used to have sounded way cleaner, more like an actual studio reverb.
- Hungry Robot The Wash: Not cheap, and not exactly the greatest availability on the used market.
- Boss RE-20: Overkill, big time. Plus I’m not sure if I’d get along with the infamous buffer/preamp.

There’s got to be something I’m overlooking, right? I’m partial against Mooer type brands (qc) and to diy stuff and clones (resale value, customer support). Also, digital stuff (zoom, M5, etc) isn't my idea "straight forward" :)

EHX Canyon? Keeley Caverns?

Not sure why you're determined to avoid the Zoom MS70. The first patch is a delay/reverb combo that sounds great, but you can instantly tweak and quick save to a shorter/longer decay with like, two button clicks.

Canyon: Lotsa delay, very little reverb :idk:
Caverns: Never really gave it a close look cause it costs more than what I had in mind, but it might actually be exactly what I'm after. Hunting one down on the local-ish used market will be tricky, but definatelly worth a shot. Thanks for the tip.

I'll look into the MS70 a little better too. Seems ligit in terms of bang for the buck, as long as there's no annoying menu's to scroll through or whatever, it might be worth checking out.

So you want something that is tweak-able, maybe stereo, small, reverb and delay, not a knock off, available both used and local, doesn't require a menu dive, but you don't want to spend...money. Come on, now.

when you put in those terms you start to realize that yeah, it's pretty lofty.
dispatch master and rv3 really seem like some of the best "budget" options.

avalanche run is probably your best "out of the budget" but maybe not by too much.

Vox Stomplab IG?
I think it lets you build six effects at once...but I don't know if you can choose NOT to use the amp modeling on any preset.

The NUX Atlantic?

Well...that basically describes the Dispatch Master. It's just that it's a bit overpriced imo, at least here in Europe. A fairly simple reverb+delay with 4 controls for just the essential parameters...I'd be all over it, dispite not being stereo. So yeah, I hoped there could be something similar out there, for less than 240Euro :idk:

I had a v1 dispatch master for hella cheap, but it didn't sound good through my set up.. super thin sounding, volume loss and the reverb was only really noticeable when maxed out.

These don't check all your boxes but EHX stereo memory man with hazarai, and Alexander Sky Fi are other options.

I honestly think the Keeley Caverns is my favorite though. A buddy of mine got one and she loves it.

True. If it were simple I would've google'd my answer instead of turning to you guys

You gotto admit though, with the saturated market these days, there's a pedal for every crazy effect you could imagine...
But when you look for a compact <160Euro delay+reverb...An '80s Boss pedlol is still your best option? :whateva:
Btw, I just now noticed that the Dispatch Master V2 has top jacks and is/was available in different colors. I'm weird that way, that sort of stuff makes me forget about my budget restrictions

I'm aware that being picky and cheap doesn't combine well with living in an area where the market for used pedals isn't too hot :p

The Avalanche Run...Dunno, that sorta money could buy me very nice seperate delay and reverb pedals that cover similar ground, if not more :idk:
I'll forgive EQD for not making the Dispatch Master stereo, but if I'm spending 375Euro on a delay/verb like the AR...I'd better be stereo  ;)

See! That wasn't so hard, was it? :p
Sky Fi, a slightly cheaper Dispatch Master, decent availability, boutique quality...Another great options, tnks!

Damn. Anyone else feel the same way about the DM?

You can usually find Dispatch Master used on reverb for around $100-115
