Hey guys,

So, I'm probably going to get a true bypass looper pedal (with staggered switches) made, with the dimensions of 12 x 2.95 x 1.96 inches, as represented by this Loopmaster pedal here:



My question is, with the Pedaltrain bars being 2 inches tall, and the looper being 2.95 inches tall (with stomp switches at the top), do you think it would be problematically unstable and wobbly, being placed horizontally on a Pedaltrain bar, as depicted in this image?

How many of you guys have experience using an awkwardly shaped pedal on a Pedaltrain, where the top or bottom of the pedal isn't securely mounted on a bar? Thoughts? Pics? I feel like this could be a nice general pic/discussion thread for awkwardly mounted pedals on boards.

A klon or two underneath the switcher should bridge the gap and serve as a nice pedal riser.

I think it would be less wobble prone if it was centered instead of on the left. Either way, you could ziptie a block of wood or something under it to add support.

unless you stomp like Bigfoot you should be OK if you cover the whole bottom of the loop pedal and the surface of the bars with velcro. it's a question of the velcro having enough grip on the bottom 2/3 of the back that it won't tip. i had a Menatone tremolo on my board that sat sideways with about 30% of the back unsupported and never had a problem with it coming loose, though i did have to make sure it was well seated when i set the board up after it had been stored in the case.

If it’s resting on the vertical bar on the left you’ll be ok for light switching.

Use Dual Lock and that looper will be rock solid.

Second Dual Lock. That shit is impossible to pull off sometimes. I have to put my full body weight into getting my EQD Interstellar Orbiter off my board because I put Dual Lock on it. LOL. Don't cheap out on that stuff either. Get the real shit. Industrial strength everything bro!

Also, stomp it man. Fuck it. Switches are replaceable anyway. If you have issues with how small the stomps are, there's lots of pedal topper options now as well that can aid in that. It serious makes it so much easier to hit the stomps.

Or just go full nutso and get all Lehle switches. Those things are fucking killer.

put a few flat slats of wood below it to bridge the gaps, I do this all the time. one on either end and one in the middle. will be solid as a rock.
