Deep space pulsar and ES8
Has anybody had any luck sending taps from an ES8 (or similar switcher) to the deep space pulsar. I’ve tried every configuration I can think of but still cannot get it to work.

I don't have an ES8 but I use mine with either the igor for the taps or I have an old kawai r-50e that has a dedicated out that I assign the kick from into the pedal to get that side-chaining compression sound. I'm guessing the ES8 has a tap tempo switch?

I don't know the ES8 either, but looking at a diagram of it, have you tried pretending the DSP trigger input was a pedal's audio input (as far as the ES8 is concerned), and switching the DSP in and out of the ES8 pathway for each beat? If the guitar signal (with you actually playing a note) was sent to the trigger in for the instant the pedal was 'switched in', the DSP may see it as a kind of weird short bass drum signal, and make a dip....
If you weren't playing when the DSP was switched in, nothing would happen.
