A microwave jumped me when I was walking to school once, and stole my lunch money. I don't trust microwaves. Not even the one that downstairs in my kitchen... right now... waiting... silently waiting...

I put a Corn Dog in the microwave, pressed 60 seconds, left the room to grab a magazine, came back and the whole room was filled with smoke and my corndog was on fire, and melted my plate. (which was glass )

I knew I forgot something.

I had one of those little boxes of microwave fries and put it in the microwave for the normal time and came back to a smokey firey microwave. The box caught fire and the fries were still frozen

I use the microwave for two things... hot chocolate and easy mac. Everything else I entrust with the mighty oven, toaster and stove.

I don't really ever use our one... Most people that come in our house are shocked when they don't see one (it remains hidden at the back of the kitchen for very specialist occasions... namely microwaved meringues)

And by the sounds of the flaming products, let alone the mugging microwaves that attacked jrmy in this thread, It's with good reason I do not use one.

I've had the same Microwave for 12 years. It's never failed me. Although I'm sure it lets through a lot more radiation than modern ones but it might turn me into the Hulk so that's cool.

I never like standing in front of them, or looking into them when something is cooking.....it reaks of cancer causing waves.....but I still cook my food in it...what doesn't give you cancer these days?

Going out in the sun gives you skin cancer but a lack of vitamin D gives you caner too...
