One of these showed up for sale about 10 miles from my house. Its $350 and it’s a head with a 2 x 15 cab. I would use it primarily for guitar and wondering if any of you know if it takes fuzz well. I’m building a tube amp but would be nice to have solid state amp too for testing pedals I’m building but also I could get a bass a test pedals on bass, as well. Seems like it would be worth just having it for the bass sound alone but couldn’t find any info out there on how they take pedals. Thanks!!!

I use mine for guitar and love it. It takes fuzz well, but its also a little particular because of the weird gain. It can get a little harsh with some pedals, but rolling off the treble on the amp or pedal works well to fix that.

I got mine for $150 a few years ago, so you might be able to get the price down a bit

Sounds like a fair price, it's just a matter of do you like how it sounds and will you use it enough to justify buying it ? Got myself a TS20 for $80 CAD, which is basically the same amp but it's a combo with a reverb and 20W instead of 50.. I think it could be worth it especially for the 2x15...

Bass player uses one and it pretty much gets a great overdrive sound that needs nothing else but sometimes nice to have a fuzz into it. I lent him my bluebeard fuzz and it sounds amazing through it

It says Traynor on the front. How can it be bad?

I actually pulled the trigger on a Quilter 201 instead. It would have been nice to nab the Traynor but I don't have much space at the moment, don't have a bass, and realized I just wanted something cleaner for testing pedals I'm building. Right now I'm using an old Crate practice amp at home as my Traynor YSR needs some servicing and the HiWatt circuit I am building is just taking me too long. So will be nice to have something simple and new and maybe I'll grab a TS50 in the future. Thanks guys!

I was just looking at that same CL listing. Pretty tempting, but I also just don't need it.
