SUMMER BILF 2018: Flip Flop edition
Tired of BILF being in winter and having to cover up with boots and tan pants. Well now you can break out your cargo shorts and flip flops and get those pedals out of storage to properly show them off.
Talked it over with a number of people including the late great vidret (reeses in pieces), and we are switching things up a bit. No more will you have to deal with slightly altered boards in every category. And no longer will you have to deal with those people just here for the prizes.
There are 5 categories. You can enter them all.
BILF Classic
The old school, what do you have? Show me what you play. Do you have a small board? Great! Big board? Fantastic!! A board for hands? Modulared! A bribe? Irrelevant (butmaybeseemelater)! This is the McDonalds of BILF. You can order whatever size burger you want no matter where in the world, it's all still just a royale with cheese.
Themed boards
Got a concept you want to showcase? All Purple pedals? All strymon? All pedal names with puns? All pedals that were made in russia in 1972? All tuners? Whatever you got that can be described in a couple sentences is fair game.
Imaginary
If I knew what this was I wouldn't need you. Go wild.
Least Instagram friendly board
Break out your razor phone and take the ugliest pic of the least hype pedals you have. JHS haunting mids into a mooer looper with a dod A/B box. Best worst board wins. I'll post the winners pics to my myspace along with some meaningful song lyrics I heard on the vans warped tour.
Blackjack
Your board must have no more than 21 knobs. You lose points for every potentiometer fewer than 21.
You have until Aug. 17. Email all submissions to summer.bilf.2018@gmail.com
There is a prize for each category. It is worthless. Winner pays shipping. Shipping cost more than the prize.
