I recently got into them. I never really listened to them - only knew Love Shack. We to a friend's house and they played Private Idaho off Wild Planet and I was hooked. Ricky Wilson was an amazing and creative guitar player and I'm loving him hard. And now wanting a Mosrite.

Yes, this band tore it the fuck up. They headlined at my first actual rock concert, but I mostly ignored them because I was there to see opener Violent Femmes
Not that the Femmes were slouches either, but I became a huge B-52s fan later.

This is the worst take I've heard all week.
Firstly, it posits that either
- Love Shack and Rock Lobster are bad
or
- The rest of their discography is bad
These ideas are both laughably wrong.
Secondly, it requires us to believe that those two songs are either so much better or so much worse than the rest of their music that they invalidate its existence.
Again, laughably wrong.
