Hooo dear, I came in here thinking the 'Ew' was just going to be about the man and not the music but yeah that was... amateurish? I don't know if it was my cheap earphones but the mix sounded horrendous and the intro sounded like it was off a Metallica bootleg.

Not as bad as I expected actually. Some parts were cringeworthy though. I do love Jimmy’s drumming. Both his sound and style.

I don't think it's terrible. Is it the same old Pumpkins from the 90's? No, but it's not terrible.

I'll give whatever next single a chance, but I really didn't like this one. Maybe because I wasn't too aware of how Billy's voice changed or the really lazy intro/first verse.

He's one of the top rock drummers active in the world today. It's kind of ridiculous he isn't in a bigger and better band already. Jon Theodore (also one of the best rock drummers in the world) getting the QOTSA gig springs to mind.

Seems like he's mixing his guitar high, and Iha's is kinda in there somewhere.

Here it is live. I like what James is doing, not sure if hes doing that on record and the mix is just shit or if hes improvising for the live version. But it sound so much better and fuller here than the official release. Damn Rick, the fuck you doing?
