The Fillmore in Philly fucking sucks. They have a really conservative DB limit for a place of their caliber, as well. Wonder if they'll be able to control one of the loudest live bands ever.

Debating traveling to NYC for their show. Probably won't happen but I'll think about it.

Well, fuck. Philly seemed easier to get to if they don't add a Baltimore or D.C., but that might push it to NYC.

MBV and dB limit don't belong in the same sentence. this will make two trips to NYC in three weeks with the Radiohead show.

No clue on how the NYC venue is, but I can say its worth driving the extra 2 hours from philly to not be disappointed at the Fillmore. Place is literally mondo burger.

Hammerstein ballroom is a venue within a venue. Drinks are pricey but the sound is pretty good. We threw the Howard stern birthday bash in the main room and have had our Christmas party at the Hammerstein room a couple times. Fun fact exit to the left of the stage and go up a half flight, and there is a hidden recording studio with a Neve VR72.

ugh... they played half show without PA the time I saw them at that fest some years ago, some power issues because they had too many fucking amps, I was really annoyed, like dude, seriously? just have them dummy cabs and nobody will notice but have 2 or 3 reliable amps and that's it.
