Son House was a preacher. He's allow to spout religion whenever he wants.
Definitely prefer him to Robert Johnson. Think I prefer Charley Patton even more though. (Tommy Johnson is also pretty great.)
Then, of course, there's Blind Willie Johnson. If you can call the Lord's music "blues". Though, I guess, his voice's angrier sounding than his guitar.
