BAT Black Forest for stacking?

Good morning, ILF.
I currently have a Fairfield Barbershop v2, Moog MF Drive v2, ss/bs Fuck Overdrive, and ss/bs Buzzz. I also have a Frazz Dazzler v2 that I’m on the fence about selling…even at its lowest gain, it’s a bit more than ideal for me.
I’ve been getting really into stacking, usually my Barbershop>MF Drive or Buzzz>Fuck. That’s been pretty awesome. The grindy clarity of the Fuck added to the gnarliness of the Buzzz or darker/middier settings on the MF Drive is such a …complete, complex sound and I love it. However, I’m considering different options as the meat in the stack sandwich.
I want something sculptable, yet full bodied, without a necessarily insane amount of gain. My research is leading me to believe a Black Forest might be quite awesome in this context. Any thoughts?

DO IT.
And tell me how you like it with the MF Drive, because I want to do pretty much the same thing but i don't have your half of the puzzle.

Black Forest is great for stacking.
When I had one, I'd use it near the end of my signal chain.

from what i recall of the demos, the Black Forest would probably be even better stacked than it is on its own.

It a good for stacking for sure.. but I'll just throw out that maybe you should investigate a Boneshaker too. Super powerful EQ.
The input cap notch is nice on the black Forest, but it's not nearly as tweakable EQ speaking as the Boneshaker imo.

I agree with with the sentiment that its better stacked then it is by itself.
First time I owned one I was running it after a pharaoh for more treble and gain. Second time i was using it at the front of my rig as a degainer.

I'm currently running it on mild granola and volume into my BadMASKan.
It's great for tightening eq and ADDING low end.
Which I will Insta clip one day.
Maybe now.

BF is first, just below mid gain (11 oclock), bass at 2, treble at 1, FAC on 3, volume at 1/2.
Blackascan/BadMaskan gain near max, volume noon, other knobs at 10 and 2 (I cant remember what they do but theyre tone related) bass cap on big, assymetric silicon clipping and some other switch I don't play with (sorry AZX, I forgot to memorise your instructions. I just blindly turn knobs until I like it).
