True legend. One of my all time regrets will be that I never got to see him perform.
Hearing Unit Structures in my twenties I had the same reaction as hearing Napalm Death in my teens. His music was so intense yet beautiful at the same time. He was what, 89? What a life.

i was fortunate enough to see him at a Halloween matinee in SF in 1981. it was one of the most intense musical experiences of my life.
