My EHX SMMwH keeps making these really annoying click noises randomly. I'll just be playing and then there's this really loud clicking fit that won't stop for about 5 seconds.

Is this distinct from a kind of "clock noise" problem?

At what settings does it happen (short delay or long delay)? Is the feedback knob up or down??

No it has nothing to do with the repeats, it doesn't matter which setting it's on it cuts my whole guitar signal and there's just clicks.
