For 400 dollars you could probs buy an infinite jets? That does some cool things outside of the double freezing thing

what two fuzz circuits pair up nicely in your experience?

wanted to stop looking for fuzz pedals and just have a dual made.

first thought was I have a piezo pickup, and a flatpup, and will be driving synths into it as well.

so I would want a fuzz with lots of sustain that works well with piezo, going into a meathead.

but now, I have not a clue since I found THE WARP VORG SOUND

hmm, what fuzz is super sensitive working well with piezo pickups?

I've got this, although I'm not sure it's exactly what you're searchin' for:

:idk: It's got break jacks so I can change the routing order. The SRS EQ Exciter, is, I believe, essentially a hefty Fuzz Face based circuit.

:idk:

sweet, yeah...now, just trying to get ideas for a dual I want msl to make, and looks like this warp sound is going to lead, now just gotta make up me mind on what is a good companion...idk this thread sucks. trying to make use of it, but the idea is singularly vague. have had the hardest time finding a fuzz that works well with my piezo pickup on my dashtick so figure thats a good place to start...

:idk: I always like stacking other fuzzes into some variation of Big Muff. :idk: I don't necessarily know how that'd sound with piezos though.

i particularly like running my W&C Tall Font Russian into my Fuzzhugger 3-knob Great Wall. the Great Wall is long out of production, though. i also like running the MXR D+ into the Tall Font.

this sums up the last 13 years of my noise “career”

superfuzz into bigmuff
fuzz face into transistor boost (makes it sort of tonebendery i think???)
any fuzz into one of those desk preamp type stomps (actually I think those would be particularly useful for dirty acoustic/piezo type sounds)

Also, how do you like the flatpup? ALways been keen, never took the plunge

 I've been thinking about this exact question myself, as fuzzdogs.co.uk has a Warp Sound kit. Brassmaster? Some Devi circuit? Gated velcro could be cool either into or after the Warp.

...or something with some subs, like a Perc or Blue Box. :idk:

I ran my pixel with a pretty gated zippery setting into my sun eater dialed in for some splattery compressed fuzz.. sounded pretty glorious.

I need to experiment some more with fuzz stacking. I do think some fuzzes sound amazing with tube screamers, particularly my Blue Box.

Megalith and Magnetar stack great together. HUGE sounding and bone crushing.

I cant say because I have not had the chance to use a ton of different pickups, but would say..picks up perfectly :animal:
its not as "bright" as other typical stock guitar pick ups maybe that ive tried, compared to a piezo pickup rod ..the flatpup is very ''condensed" and tight, no problems, well made. http://www.original-flatpup.com/

anyways, not a guitar player and researching pickups is like pulling teeth to me so heres some cool shit https://www.sixtus-pickups.com/
