Behringer Deepmind 12 incoming (and available for $649)

ProAudioStar has some open-box Deepmind 12s for $649 - I could NOT resist at that price (as I was looking hard at the Deepmind 6 in the same range, but well, if I can get the whole shebang for that)...
Will report back when it arrives.
Link for those with a sudden need for a few hundred off a 12 voice poly synth.

The amount of stupid in the box is phenomenal, I wanted one hardcore but I don't play synth enough to have justified it (and didn't hit my "ok, I have three Gibsons I like, think I'm done" threshhold until recently").
If I hook that and my System-1 together, sixteen poly voices should be enough to kill.

This is why I keep a line of credit on hand.
I have to think about it, since it only cuts me off from purchases until I pay for that last one (I'm responsible and shit in my old age)....but I don't have to miss out on stuff that's truly on my radar.

Defnitely interested in what you think. I keep seeing these for around $700, and for that price it’s hard to not be tempted by this

I've been watching the demos and whatnot since it came out - it does a TON to say the least.
I wanted something to pair with my System-1 for a while now.
This may be overkill, but...just the "Modulate anything" options available for the voices and presets...plus the built-in effects seem like a no-brainer for somebody who doesn't mind a little programming but still likes hands-on, and doesn't have any desire to deal with modular.

enjoy, i got one used for around that price and it's such a fantastic value. it's a ton of fun and sounds great (most of the presets can be ignored)

Damn! Nice score! That's tempting, but I have too many gear plans and none of them include another polysynth at the moment.
