I have an old Marshall 4x10... What should I do with it?

I got a good deal on a 4x10 a little while back which the shop owner didn't know much about. He thought that it had been rebaffled from a different configuration at some point, but he obviously didn't do much research as it very clearly says on the back that it's a Marshall 1510 4x10. I can't find much information on it apart from one guy on a forum who said that it's pretty much the same dimensions as a 1960b but slightly deeper. Some guy offloaded a load of gear on the shop including a weird Fender 8x12 (!) that's as tall as me with 8 V30's in it, that's currently selling for like 200. This 4x10 had a twin which I chose not to buy but has been sold since.

So I opened it up today and had a look inside. Looks like a rewire job was done and the inside was lined with fairly thick hand-cut foam. Also, it's got 4 Celestion BN10-200X in it which are worth about 4 times what I paid for the cab alone. I already have a bass cab and was planning on using this for guitar.

OK so to get to the point... I have no idea what to do with this cab. I tried selling it but had no interest for ages and gave up so I'm gonna keep it. As far as I see it, I have a few options:

1. Keep it as is. Rock it. It sounds alright but I'm sure it could be better.

2. Put a new set of 10s in it. If so, what should I choose? Going for loud and articulate with enough low end to handle low tunings with appropriate bass response without it becoming too muddy.

3. Get it modified to something different. 4x12? 2x15? I think it's probably big enough to do either.

4. Sell it and do something else, but where's the fun in that?!

WHAT DO? :!!!:

Where the hell is that 812 at? Road trip!

I'd live with the 410 a while before doing anything to change or ditch it. Might be magical for you, or experience may direct you to a better way to tweak it than a random guess.

Brighton, UK. The store is a 20 second walk down the road from my flat. The website says it's an 8x10 but I'm sure he told me it was 8x12. Still pretty cool, though.

I mean, it does sound fine. I haven't used it much and fancied a project, I just wasn't sure whether i was missing a trick or something. I think you're right, but I'm still interested to see what people would do to it had they the option :)

personally I would plug an amp into it and then plug a guitar into the amp and then plug my hands into some riffs
