Need help - Table Top mixer

Ok so things are going swimmingly with lots of nice sounds but I think I need some control of how it all rolls.
I am looking for a good suggestion for a mixer. I have a crappy sound craft notepad that I got somewhere... who knows where things come from found it in the bottom of my closet.
I can see I really need something to mix all the incoming sounds. My inputs look like this 4 from the modular and I want double that to be sure so let's say 8 inputs.
Solid EQ but I don't need parametric since I do a lot of shaping with filters on the Eurorack.
I think ideal is 2 channels of fx sends so that I can mix and match. So pretty simple I guess but I want low noise so I can run direct to record and ideally light enough that I can carry with one hand.

Really looking for what you have used or are familiar with and one more little thing I really want faders. I am sick of knobs for mixing.

I just picked up a older Mackie 1642 vlz pro. Should be enough inputs for me and it has four aux sends for reverb, compressor, etc. I plan to put a looper in one of the loops as well. This was an older made in the USA version so I'm hoping it will warm everything up a bit.

Was also looking at a sound craft epm12 but just couldn't pass up the price on the Mackie I have on the way.

Thats a big boy! I really want to to find something more compact and sleek. I know that common wisdom is "built to toss off desk" but moving that type of gear around is not my idea of fun. That Mackie does have really lots of features and I am pretty sure you will never regret having it.

I would say that I plan to keep it in the studio for the most part. It is rather large but I would rather have a few extra inputs that have to keep unplugging and plugging. Maybe look into a soundcraft EPM8? They seem to be priced right and have a good amount of features as well.

With Behringer Xenyxs you can't go wrong!
I had a 1202fx for a long time and was always really happy about it! Used studio, live, etc.. never had a complain about it.
Lately I switched to a Mackie VLZ4 802, but I did the move, mainly because I found a new one for 50-60$ cheaper than the normal streatprice, so I couldn't let it go such a bargain! :D

I have a Behringer Xenyx as well. 4 pres, 4 stereo inputs.

Had it for 10+ years, been blasting it with all kinds of horrible sounds, no-input feedback and it still works.
