My wife told me a little while ago - what a dreadful loss! He kind of looked like he could never die, or already had and was refusing to stop moving... he was a sort of anti establishment figure that the UK will be a lot more bland without. We need more weird, not less

He seemed somehow immortal, and at least his music is.
Here's the first thing I listened to from The Fall, my friends played that one a lot at parties/etc. when I was a teenager.

Absolutely this, he looked about 65 when he was 45 and it seemed like he was just going to be around forever.
This sucks. There'd been a few fall gigs cancelled because of his health recently but I didn't realize he was in such a bad way.

Sucks bad. My boss is an old punk dude, toured a ton back in the day, met Mark and kept the cig they smoked together. He got me into the fall once I started working there.
He was a huge fan. Can't imagine how he must feel right now.
Regardless, smoke em if you got em boys. Lifes a bitch then you die.
