I angry that the first topic was about people on the internet being angry about their dumb vid... And so I will not continue watching.. Not everything needs to be put forth in a but tv type interview format.

is there any point that they actually give you some performances because I've been punching forward for half of it and they're still talking about their idea and not showing more than 15 seconds of anyone doing it

This video is what would happen if interns at NPR were writing a sequel to Spinal Tap.

Seems excessive. A skilled player could have achieved those sounds with half the amount of pedals.

meh. i'm into Kevin Shields, so there's nothing that impressive to me about 200 random pedals when Kevin probably has that many.

Surprised at how not-especially-destroyed that sounded, to be honest, as least when people were making an actual attempt to play things. Must be that fuckin' Maxon graphic EQ pedal in there.

so your form of protest is to stop watching, and complain about it on the internet....
making them right?
i did watch it, a couple of times, and it is definitely more of an interview than demovids actually documenting the evening.
which is a shame. i personally would have loved more of the super chaos.

of course!
but excess was the intent!
that's how things are done in the internet age.
& it will only be relevant until whomever does the 300 pedal challenge.
also it looks like the boards were switchable, leaving me to believe some of the (very little amount of) sounds heard from the evening were not "full on"
i hope more relevant video surfaces.

Appreciated the post, Chank, it was definitely a cool video. Would love to see more footage of the performance in the future.

Lost a bit of respect for these guys when they start selling shitty clone pedals on their Converge tour for like 200 dollars.
