Man I bought a never ending story DVD in the bargain bin years ago but cant bring myself to watch it. There's just never a time when I'm ready for that many feels.

I'm 37 and still can't watch that movie. I got pretty shook as a kid in the theater and tried to hide under the seat before dad picked me up and took me home.

I tried watching it about 10 years ago and couldn't get all the way through it.

What if I cried like an injured baby when I watched it as a child? That and when the little rabbit gets left behind and is yelling for its mother in the Disney animated Robin Hood wrecked me as a kid, top 5 cries of all time. Whatever part of the human body makes crying, it does not work right in my adult body anymore. I'll choke up watching TV all the time, but it's almost impossible for me to cry.

Bros...If I even think about PLAGUE DOGS (movie and/or book) I have to start holding back tears. It can be inconvenient when talking about animation as I inevitably cite that film and WATERSHIP DOWN

Secret of Nimh was pretty money. I don't think anyone actually dies in that other than the rat bastard (on screen) though we're told of Jonathan Brisby's death.. ? I have it on DVD .. I should revisit it.
