My fuzz prototype is no longer a prototype

A couple of you asked me to post an update once this thing was ready for prime time. Some of you might remember playing the prototype of this at the ILF get together in MN. Anywho, I'm just going to copy&paste what I said on instagram:
I’ve been working on this little sucker for a while now. It started as a personal challenge because I kept hearing people talk about how “well behaved” the CBA Brothers pedal was. Instead of taking the compliment like a normal person, a voice in the back of my head kept saying, “Oh yeah?!” I felt the drive to make something crazy. Something on the verge of being out of control. Something that behaves very very badly. Here it is. It’ll peel paint off the walls, but it can also be subtle, or disgusting, it’s up to you.
Graphic design by the talented Jacob Swogger of @mpls_guitars. It will be available via @eldiabloamps (
http://www.eldiabloamps.com) as of this weekend.

What did you do to make it do that broken tremolo sound you posted on the instagram? Versatile little box

It's a delicate balance between your guitar level/pickups, the Edges, and the Expanse controls. With the settings just right (and a little luck), this guy can do tremolo, flanging, ring mod, bit-crush sounds and more.
(basically you have to fuck with it a bunch to find all the cool stuff it can do)

They should be up on the El Diablo site on Friday. I think there might be some on Reverb too this weekend.

So much this.
I want it based on one simple statement.
I kept hearing people talk about how “well behaved” the CBA Brothers pedal was. Instead of taking the complement like a normal person, a voice in the back of my head kept saying, “Oh yeah?!” I felt the drive to make something crazy. Something on the verge of being out of control. Something that behaves very very badly.

Will purchase based on typographic greatness alone

Like the vagueness of the harmonic section controls- more like suggestions. Edges? That's brill.
Wait tho: I always thought bax meant no mid control- and treble and bass also boosted or cut mids?
