Hey all. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I said fuck it a few months ago and quit worrying so much about my gear purchases. I knew that I was going to start making good money soon, and I have, so I kind of went a little hog wild. I'm not as bad as others, but I've bought a lot of shit lately. So, my question is this. What would you do with it all? I'm thinking of display cases of some sort for my spare when I'm not using them. What do you all do with your spares?

I'm going to post pics of everything just for shits and giggles.

I bought these cheap shallow shelves with a lip, made for pictures frames and whatnot. Strung them up with leds and then put all my spares on those. When I run out of room, I flip some things

Nice stash!

Got any pictures???

The best part of my stash is the Toneczar stuff.

I now have everything that Toneczar offers except the Angel Chorus, Expression pedal and VMF. So I have like 7 Toneczar pedals now. LOL! I think I should win BILF this year with that right?

Dude, that is tight as fuck! Where did you buy the shelves?? I don't have sheetrock in my basement yet, but that would look awesome once I do! Definitely a good idea. I love the LED's too.

Your collection looks like a lot of fun.

I've got a billy bookshelf and made a pedalboard out of each shelf. Make sure all those extra pedals are playable.

Spares? You mean duplicates? ---I keep those, along with most of my pedals in their display boxes, so they're not caked in dust. I can't be playing >100 pedals every week, or even every month.

I've got boxes stacked 3-to-4 high in some places (across 4 different shelving units) and some of my pedals are in plastic tubs, or in my spare dresser, where clothes used to be. If I had more room, I would like something like DRod, but with a clear covering, to keep the dust off.

You can probably buy cheaper somewhere. Those have an annoying sticker to cover the screw holes though, which is pretty visible to be just a sticker.

Also, that's just hung in drywall #shoddyworkmanship

Also a lot of that has been flipped. Old picture. I miss them all.
Still have all 4 boneshakers though. :animal:

Yeah, that room is dusty as duuuuuck. Do all my woodwork and pedal drilling in that room. I keep a stack of micro fiber cloths next to it.

This is the ideal setup for me, but the shelves would be flat, so I could put the pedals on top of, or in front of their factory boxes. There'd be translucent sliding shelves, which would also guard against accidents. #pedalmuseumgoals

Love it guys! Absolutely loving the responses!

So what I originally was thinking is something like an angled glass display of some sort. Not sure if those even exists. LOL. I'm digging some of these though.

Pay attention to store closings in your area. They sometimes will sell display cases and so on.

I'm lazy.

I use milk crates for the stuff in semi-regular "additional" rotation, and the rest get stored in those plastic drawer things I got at Wal-mart.
