Hey guys,

I have a question about the Earthquaker Devices Bit Commander. In particularly about the fuzz tone of the BC.

While watching some demo's about the pedal, I stumbled on this demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3N4zpn3f2Y
Really digging the first half of the video where the guitarist plays with the sub, down & up off. Just using the filter, level & base knobs I think.
He's using it as a normal distortion pedal and I'm wondering which kind of fuzz/dist. the Bit Commanders sounds like.

In short: I want the sound of the bit commander without the octaves, which pedal do I need?

In reality: probably gonna end up with a Bit Commander.

Kind Regards

It's a 386 going into a TL072. I can't think of anything that's comparable in design, off the top of my head.
Somebody could dissect it and build just the fuzz part, but at that point, it'd be cheaper to just buy one used.

Colin from experimentalists anonymous has a pedal called the Parallel Universe 2..

Layout by Fredrick Lyxzén - Which is basically that. It's a 386 and a Tl072 with some extra goodies. I built one and it rips. Lots if fun :)

But yeah, just buy a commander. It's dope in its own right.
