Landscape Stereo Field

Sorry if I missed a dedicated thread to this, but I only saw the discussion folded into the Knobs megathread.

Got mine a few weeks ago and played my first set out with it last weekend. At the gig, I interestingly found that I could pick up a radio station by touching in certain spots, which doesn't happen at home. Does anyone have thoughts on how one could go about reproducing that more intentionally? Some sort of FM antennae patched into an input?

Also, any other interesting uses people have found?

That sounds dope. I had an old amp that would pick up radio frequency at gigs all the time, loved it.

Also interested in this as I've been fucking dying for one of these but Euro has been eating my money. I hope someone can give input that helps you so I can use it in the future.

Sorry I'm no help at all.

What was your live setup, zoooooombiex? Solo show?

I had one, and the new owner should receive it tomorrow. Many things I didn't like about it. Basically wanted a lofi Kaoss pad and this didn't deliver that for me. Yes, I picked up some radio stations too.

I was doing a duo with the other player on bass trombone & clarinet. I was running a guitar through one channel of the amp and the SF (> verb & delay) through the other.

I hear what youre saying about the SF. I was also originally expecting something I could just route audio through and twist it up via the contact pads. It sort of does that but I guess not in the way I anticipated. It's taken some playing to warm up to the SF and still figuring out how to use it effectively, as more than just a random noisemaker.

To pick up radio stuff reliably, going to need some sort of radio circuit in your rig.

Otherwise, it's just time of day, location, and luck of the draw, mixed with some shielding issues on gear.

FWIW, here is the set. You can hear the radio clearest at the beginning. It got a bit buried in the mix & verb later.
