The Hype made me do it!

So, a few weeks ago, I got a lovely little package in the mail - my first ever Hyperion! Now, I'm usually a bass-centric guy, and the bass through the Hype sounded great... but my little "electric uke" (a mini-bass strung with piccolo strings & tuned up to guitar range ADGC) sounded SOOOOOOO SWEET through the pedal that I immediately started riffing... and riffing... and riffing... and before you know it, I had a song recorded!
I finished it up today... well, finished for the time being anyhow. It's a departure from my "usual" thing (my synthpop band), and I've realized that I've been accumulating a little batch of these "extracurricular" songs. They all seem to come from a very similar place... somewhat sloppy, very fuzzy, trying to make some ground between Dinosaur Jr, Jawbox, Sebadoh, and maybe Yo La Tengo... (though my guitar playing isn't nearly as good as any of those... but that's the area I'm shooting for). I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do with them, but there you go.
Anyhow, here it is... no vox, no title, and crappy Garageband drums... but what can I say? It makes me happy. Maybe it will amuse you too...
If anyone cares about instrumentation, everything "leady" is my electric uke through the hype. The second "dirty guitar" in the breakdown is the uke through my TP. The bass fuzz was done in Garageband. And I think that's about it...
