Very sad.
He was a great guitarist and innovator, listen to his early recordings with Mary Ford and you can hear his home made echo chamber, as well as very early use of tone knobs for a wah effect and sweet distortion and sustain. All done in the ‘40s and ‘50s.
I will miss him.

Being that Les Paul invented multi track recording, this is arguably as big a loss as MJ. His innovations have touched us ALL!!!!
His effect on recorded music as a whole is bigger than anyone else I can think of.
I always wanted a Gibson Les Paul. This year I finally bought one. Strange timing.

RIP. He was 94 though, so I don't really feel bad. I also don't really like Les Paul guitars, except for the jr.
