I find it hard to have faith in anyone

Back when I was a kid, I used to love Earthworm Jim. It was my favourite game and cartoon.

Now there's a thing about this, the guy who created the characters is called Doug Tennapel, and he just so happens to be one of the worst christian fundamentalist conservative bloggers in existence.

http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/author/dtennapel/

This is just so disturbing. The cult like mentality on these blogs, the "us and them" attitude... it's hard to respect a guy like that. And he wastes all his creativity by shoving it into all his recent works to the point where they're unreadable unless you're a fundie who believes socialists and homosexuals will destroy the world with giant monsters.

He reads like a typical Harmony Central Political Party guy, like Echoes or koti.

As Johnathan Swift once said, "You cannot reason a person out of a position he did not reason himself into in the first place."

There's just so much of this sickness and I don't see it going away. It's far from the only sickness either. People are just unreasonable to the core.

I can't really think of any positive role models I have. Of course, that makes you go down the WELL JUST HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF :D route. But when you think about that a bit, having faith in yourself, and ONLY yourself is a very lonely existence that can't lead to anything good.

Married men are polled to have more sex and more satisfying sex than singles so Republican men have another great quality over their unmarried Democrat counterparts.

are you guys sure he means it?
the whole thing reads like comedy. too sad he seems to be dead serious about demonstrating his low level of...uhm..brain-activity :(

Yeah I agree it does sound like satire. But you never know.... I wouldn't be surprised if he was serious.

It's not satire. He really is that fucking much of a jerk.

are you sure the "married men having more sex" part actually means having sex with the wife? :whateva:

in a christian conservative's world, that'd be quite progressive. or traditional. pick one :P

Reading the comments on his blog is just scary... of course he mostly only lets the ones that agree with him through. It's just frightening because the people on it come off as cultists and not human beings.

On Pres. Obama

He reaches out to apologize to Muslim countries I wasn’t aware we had sinned against. If anything, those governments should apologize to us for not being as great as America. Every country should apologize to their citizens for not being as great as this country.

I miss Earthworm Jim...

I dunno...his blogs read like total Colbert-ish satire, but as far as I can tell he's dead serious.

The simple answer is not to have faith in anyone. Pray for the zombie apocalypse.

I say, we team up, go to his house in ninja outfits, inject him with paralyzing spider venom (the kind so that you can't move but CAN feel) and get an uber muscular biker dude with a mustache, a bandanna, a spiked dog collar and nothing else to show him some lovin while we video tape it and take pictures. We, then, organize a 4chan style hacking group and replace everything in his website with those pictures and videos. :bob:

Or you could just respond to all his comments debunking them. Right now they rely on having a huge majority of fundies.
