I'm sure you've already heard it, but the new Kesha album is the best alt country album of 2017. The funny thing is, I'm not being sarcastic!

Kesha was pretty great when she was doing trashy pop. I'll give her alt-country a shot, but I'm always hesitant when it comes to the pop to country transition (see Lady Gaga).
I'm strangely less hesitant about the reverse (see Taylor Swift).
