I'm trying out new sounds on board, and as a result, my Twosome fuzz has been replaced. Currently I'm running my rogue overdrive for load gain drive, with my Fuck for high gain and a Fuzz Face in the beginning of my chain for fuzz sounds. And I really like it! But I think I want more SS/BS stuff. Wasn't ready for how good the fuck sounds with the gain cranked.

So heres what I'm thinking.

I offload the Twosome and get one of two things:

-A second fuck/mini to use for low gain to run into my current Fuck.

-Go wild card and dump more stuff and go tri fuck.

Also thinking of replacing the fuzz face with a Buzzz maybe.

Thoughts?

As a side note I really liked the TAFM I had for a while, maybe you'd dig it too?

How were the lows on the TAFM?

get a mini. I think they sound good on guitar AND bass.

TAFM has good lows, but I sold it pretty soon after I got it because other pedals have better lows. The biggest beef I had with the TAFM was the blend, which in my opinion was not a good one. Sounded too much like two separate signals rather than a cohesive one. MINI was meh.....I've heard a lot better. But I know that the SS/BS is a hot commodity so take my opinion for what it's worth....one mans opinion.

I loved the Buzzz and the Mini. I have a top jacked 125B mini for sale if you are interested.

The Pretty years was pretty disappointing but then again it's the only pedal I have ever made money off of in 25 years of collecting pedals, so that's pretty great for what was essentially a broken pedal.

The buzzz is maybe my favorite SuperFuzz type fuZZ.

I did alright out of trading mine but I thought it was totally awesome just too much for me.

Sparkle motion might be worth a try, if you can find one in the wild....or convince Brian to make them production.

Sparklemotion sounds interesting...wonder how down brian is for resurrecting old circuts.

I did alright out of trading mine but I thought it was totally awesome just too much for me.

any pedal that makes noise consistently in bypass and when turned on and that needs to be plugged in and unplugged and re-plugged in some vain hope that it will be quiet is broken in my book.

The few times I was able to get it to work as it should, I really liked it. But the noise and bypass was more than I could deal with.

Mini has beaten out all of my ODs, ridiculously corksniffery ones included. It's perfect.
