http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?zj3mnjm0jmtShoegazey/Lof-Fi Tape album. Listening to the individual tracks isn't that fun. It's meant to be listened to as a whole piece, like Godspeed! or the Mars Volta. This is the product of 8 hours of work today, it was recorded in one sitting while wearing no pants. It's 7 minutes long...

What do you think?

It's like a 7 minute ocean of fuzz!

I like it. Good drones. Kinda reminds me of Flying Saucer Attack, not the music itself, but the vibe of the whole thing. Also, I'm a sucker for lo-fi.

Btw,is that your new setup?

All of it except for the first song is the TBTP with a DD-3 in the loop going into the tape machine which adds some overdriven tonez and such, the first song was recorded a while when I just had a Glitch Computer, I also used a bow!

Immensely enjoyable. Flowing fuzz action, though I'm now wondering what didn't make the cut from that 8 hour session.

Nothing. Lol, just outtakes and tests to see what stuff sounded like. I may have exaggerated a bit but it took a long time to set up and tune and then retune and think up new songs ideas on the spot and record to tape and then rewind the tape and then record that onto a laptop which doesn't have a power supply and whose battery has to be charged in another laptop and put back in and then turned back on by prying open the case and pressing a button that I can't get to any other way because the on button is broken and then copy the files to my ipod and onto my other laptop and then import into audacity and ableton and mix them together so they flow like that, then I made a press package thing with photos and stuff and uploaded it to mediafire. . lol

Those kinds of sessions always produce the best sounds. Makes me want to try recording straight to tape again.

What do you guys use for tape recording?
I really need something to record some demo's at home.

I use a Sony TC-127 that I found on the side of the road. One track only, although has two volume sliders for left and right channels.
