Synth cases? - How do you transport it all?

So I'm kind of getting synth fever and want to make a transport case/board that I can take with me from home to my practice space without having to dismantle/unplug everything.

Currently have: Novation K-Station (25 key), Arturia Microbrute and Roland JX-03 - using an Edirol 25 midi controller with it.

There any cheap cases that can hold all that? How do you transport your synth rigs around?

@frodog :love:

Back when I did this on the regular, all of the small stuff was stuck down (with DuoLock) to a bit of plywood that was cut to fit inside a standard 61-key SKB keyboard case. Think of it like a large pedalboard! :lol:

Knew a couple of guys that used DJ coffins in a similar fashion, though you could probably also get by with a Pelican roller and some eggcrate foam between the keyboards...

Audiopile sells cases at various sizes.

I think Rogue sells various size pedalboard cases too, if you wanna go the budget route (Audiopile will have more sizes).

Or look for "Road Case" on CraigsList, or pre-owned on Ebay.

Yeah, I was basically looking at it like a large pedalboard and would like something with a removable lid much like a pedalboard. I was thinking of velcro or maybe just making the lid heavy with foam so it sandwiches the gear in the case.

Nice. I think that would work out well.

Roadcases https://www.roadcasesusa.com/?&atrkid=V ... fgodrq0FHw makes good stuff, they are nice and easy to work with and their prices are good, I have had 3 custom pedalboard cases and 2 rack cases made by them :thumb:
